I discovered a huge canvas painting of Marilyn tucked behind piles of items for sale in a junk shop in the Hamptons on Long Island, New York.
I snapped this photo in black and white, developed it, printed it and later handpainted it.
3 photos framed and ready for the January show.
These photos were taken by Steve in the early 70's while he attended college in Chicago.
I printed them from his negatives and hand painted the photos.

Chicago Chic
Finished some more projects this evening with Steve's help.
We made 3 beautiful doll arm racks, strong enough to hold heavy coats or jackets.
My friends, Tami and Jerry, recently sold there home and moved out of state. Jerry loved the old barn that was located on their property, so when helping them clean up before their move, I found some old barn boards that Jerry had replaced awhile ago and took them. I snapped several photos of his barn and then make these barn board photo displays. I'll give one to Jerry when we visit them next spring, so he'll always have a little piece of his beloved barn.
September.
Where has the time gone? I look so forward to warmer weather, sitting on the deck watching clouds move over a green Hollow. seeing friends, exploring news places, wearing short sleeves, sleeping with the windows open. Summer. It goes so quickly. We have accomplished so much and have done so many wonderful things this summer. But I still find myself wanting more time. More summer.
It was a summer of quiet and it was a summer of celebration. Spending time with dear friends. Spending quiet time with each other. Celebrating milestone birthdays and our 34th wedding anniversary.
The summer wasn't without drama. But by purging the negative, we have made more more for the positive and the joyful.
Summer.
I will be sad to see it go, but knowing that cool Fall weather is coming...bonfires and river cruises and leaves changing and HALLOWEEN are coming....well, it's all good.
Summertime is not the time to be inside huddled over a hot glue gun!
I painted my antique doors this year and gave my Hatian metal sculpture a bright coat of paint.
I recently visited family in Houston and while there made a visit to the National Museum of Funeral History. It was amazing! I bought this "Wedding Ring Coffin" in their fabulous gift shop! PERFECT for my business cards.
